Credit card surcharges for nomination and sponsorship fees

From 1 July the Department of Immigration will apply a credit card surcharge on nomination and sponsorship charges in addition to visa application charges. These surcharges will apply in Australia and globally with the exception of New Zealand and Singapore which prohibit these type of expenses.

The additional fees come in the wake of recent increases in fees for many visa classes.
