- Your sponsor has previously sponsored 2 or more people on a partner visa
- Your relationship has broken down
- You previously held a Prospective Marriage Visa

Relationship Certificate
- For de facto couples, you may have or may wish to register with one of the states or territories below, if eligible. Please confirm with your case manager whether this is possible or necessary and then follow the instructions for relevant state or territory below;
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- Apply and obtain a Civil Partnership certificate through Access Canberra
- Access Canberra (Link)
- Apply and obtain a Civil Partnership certificate through Access Canberra
- New South Wales (NSW)
- Apply and obtain a relationship certificate through birth deaths and marriages
- Queensland (QLD)
- Apply and obtain a Civil Partnership certificate through the QLD Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages
- South Australia (SA)
- Apply and obtain a certificate through the Consumer and Business Services SA
- Tasmania (TAS)
- Apply and obtain a relationship certificate through Births Deaths and Marriages Tasmania
- Victoria (VIC)
- Apply and obtain a relationship certificate through Births Deaths and Marriages Victoria
