Roam Migration Law Partner, Jackson Taylor, made a submission to the Independent Panel tasked with reviewing the 457 visa program, through his previous firm, Eventus Immigration.
A number of issues with the current program were put to the panel including the difficulty for employers to manage temporary visa populations with current VEVO tools and the potential reforms to ensure employers have access to skilled overseas staff in a timely and effective manner. The Panel is expected to report to the Assistant Minister later in 2014.
